CEO's Talent Management and Leadership Development Seminars
"I left thinking about ways we can enrich our talent processes with more up, down and across." -- Sarah Hunt, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
CEO's Talent Management and Leadership Development seminars, held consecutively in September, featured the Calder Quartet, Steve Erickson (UBS), Trina Soske (Oliver Wyman), Mike Markovits (IBM), Brian Schipper (Cisco), Craig Pearce (Claremont College), and Susan Resnick West (USC Annenberg School for Communication), as well as CEO's Jay Conger, John Boudreau and Ed Lawler.
West and the Calder Quartet talked - and then the Quartet played - to demonstrate ensemble leadership. Erickson discussed leadership challenges during challenging times, and Soske talked about the shortcoming of the existing leadership paradigm. Conger discussed talent in emerging markets and onboarding pivotal talent, and Boudreau further developed the Talentship concept.
"Impressive speakers with well thought out ideas. Excellent seminar from start to finish." -- Aviv S. Grinwald, Alta Colleges, Inc.
