Some companies are using online games to select candidates for jobs. These gaming applications claim to be able to detect things like personality and cultural fit, as well as job skills. Companies have even started dropping their interviews and just hire using the cheaper and faster gaming application.
John commented on what the research suggests, and why this may work or not work in certain situations.
