Webinar: Retooling Talent Management to Be More Businesslike - Audio/Video
CEO Research Director and Professor John Boudreau held a webinar on September 29 discussing how to retool talent management so that it can be more businesslike.
There are valuable data and frameworks for talent management today, but they tend to be in the language of HR, not the frameworks of business. HR and non-HR leaders may be better able to engage with key talent management issues if we use proven business models to address them.
Boudreau discussed how business models such as engineering tolerance analysis, supply-chain analysis, inventory optimization, logistics, and market segmentation can not only apply to talent management, but can reveal insights and connect talent management decisions to the real-world business models that leaders already use.
