Knowledge Networks and the Design of the Knowledge Firm
CEO does research that examines the design of knowledge-based firms, and the structures, processes, human resources, and technologies required to manage knowledge as the key value-adding resource of the firm. Our projects are focused on the interplay between levels of analysis, how organizational practices at the individual, team, business unit, and corporate level contribute to the importing, enhancing, generating, applying and leveraging of knowledge resources. This is examined in the context of complex global innovation networks and in smaller units such as research centers.
