Building a Decision Science for Strategic Talent and Organization
CEO is studying how organizations can improve decisions about how to compete with and for the human capital that matters most--a 'decision science' for talent and organizations, akin to the decision sciences of Finance and Marketing. CEO studies human capital not merely from the perspective of human resource management but through its effects on organization effectiveness, integrating human capital, organization design, globalization and leadership. Research initiatives include conducting field studies in 'talent segmentation--identifying the 'pivot points' where human capital decisions drive organization effectiveness, as well as research on HR measurement and analysis that creates strategic change and focus on the critical human capital segments. CEO has recently published three books based on its research.
