Trina Soske

Trina Soske is Partner, Head of the Americas, at Oliver Wyman Leadership Development. She has over 25 years of strategy consulting and executive development experience with companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50. Her broad industry background includes healthcare, medical instruments, technology, financial services, entertainment, consumer products, education and nonprofit. Her particular areas of domain expertise include corporate and business unit strategy, organizational change, and leadership.

Trina frequently speaks and writes. With Professor Bob Eccles of Harvard Business School, she co-authored the Sloan Management Review article titled Consulting: Has the Solution Become the Problem? She also made significant contribution to two books, How Corporate Truths Become Competitive Traps and Fad Surfing in the Boardroom: Reclaiming the Courage to Manage in the Age of Instant Answers.

Prior to Oliver Wyman, Trina was a Partner and Global Practice Lead for Monitor Executive Development. Before that, she was President of Linkage, an international leadership and organizational development firm that includes Warren Bennis on its Board; and President/CEO of Interaction Associates, where she led a successful turnaround. Previously, Trina was a founder of two boutique strategy consulting firms, one of which was a spin-off of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

In addition, she has also been very active in education reform efforts over the last decade, involving policy, assessment, curriculum design, teacher professional development and high performance management of school districts.

Trina earned an undergraduate honors degree in Political Science from Whitman College, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
