Gerry Ledford, CEO Senior Research Scientist, took a critical look at the large volume of writing about employee engagement during the past 20 years in this webinar. Gerry examined measures of engagement and discussed the limitations of engagement research.
The webinar argued that the engagement literature almost ignores research on employee motivation, and argued that the connection between engagement and performance depends on understanding employee motivation.
The session outlined a performance-driven engagement strategy that can increase both engagement and performance, and offered a number of ideas for maximizing the ROI on engagement initiatives.
