SUMMARY:Strategic Organization Design
DESCRIPTION:Deepen your understanding and sharpen your skills \nIn today’s dynamic and hyper-competitive environment\, the ability to design organizations that are efficient enough to drive performance and flexible enough to sustain advantage is of fundamental importance. As new strategies call for new solutions\, they pose complex design challenges at all levels and in all sub-systems of the organization.\nThis workshop provides participants with the principles\, frameworks\, and tools of organization design for those who wish to develop a deeper understanding of the topic. It also addresses the ever-increasing challenges created by a growing digital economy where work\, change\, and design issues are merging. Groups of three or more from the same company will receive a 15% discount.\n			 \n				Register for Program\n			\n				Download Agenda\n			\n			 \n				\n				\n			 \n				\n				\n			 \n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Design Models\nThe frameworks in the program will focus on:\nEnsuring the organization design supports the business strategy\nDesigning for flexibility\, innovation\, and rapid change\nOrganizing around customers\, geographies\, and products\nLeveraging resources as the business becomes more complex\nDesigning alliances\, networks\, and other lateral structures\nGoverning an increasingly complex organization\nIntegrating globally dispersed organizations\nEnsuring the human capital approaches support the strategy\nImplementing new and more effective designs\n			 \n			 \n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Pre-Work\nIn order to get the most out of the workshop\, there will be a few pre-work assignments that include:\nViewing a one-hour introductory webinar.\nReading four chapters of Jay Galbraith’s Organization Design.\nReading three case studies or articles that will be discussed.\nSummarizing an organization design challenge using a workbook.\n			 \n				\n				\n				The book\, workbook\, and case studies will be provided in advance.
