SUMMARY:EEN Session: AI Agents: Designing them to be your Friend\, not your Foe
DESCRIPTION:AI Agents: Designing them to be your Friend\, not your Foe\nSession Leader: Alexis Fink\, PhD\nThursday\, March 12\, 2026 8:00 am PDT (Los Angeles) | 11:00 am EDT (New York) | 3:00pm GMT (London) \n1.5 hour duration\n  \n \n \n \n As AI agents take on greater roles\, we need to reflect on how we design AI agents so that they strengthen rather than destabilize our systems and organizations. \nAI agents are evolving from drafting emails and summarizing reports to prioritizing tasks\, triggering workflow processes\, approving actions and shaping decisions. And with the evolution comes a number of questions about how to ensure that AI agents align with internal governance structures\, decision-right frameworks and contribute\, rather than deviate\, from operational and strategic imperatives. Alignment is essential if we seek to design and deploy AI agents as friends\, rather than foes. \nJoin us for a live 90-minute Enterprise Effectiveness Session in which Alexis Fink (Senior Research Scientist) will talk about what it takes to design AI agents as productive tools that contribute to your operating model as well as the risks associated with failing to do so. \nWho should attend? \n• HR\, strategy\, and operations leaders integrating AI agents into enterprise workflows \n• Digital and technology leaders responsible for AI deployment and governance \n• Risk and compliance professionals assessing automation exposure \n• Industrial–Organizational psychologists focused on decision quality in AI-enabled environments \n• Senior executives accountable for enterprise performance and oversight \n• OD practitioners redesigning processes and authority structures in response to automation \nWhat’s the Enterprise Effectiveness Network (EEN)? \nThe Enterprise Effectiveness Network (EEN) is a dynamic peer-to-peer community where we discuss and address talent\, organizational\, and strategy execution challenges. SUMMARY:WEBINAR: Accelerating Microsoft’s AI Transformation: An organization design and development systems approach
DESCRIPTION:Friday\, February 20\, 2026 9am PT | 12pm ET | 5pm GMT (1 hour duration)\n \n \n \n				  \nIn partnership\, The Center for Effective Organizations (CEO) & Organization Design Forum (ODF) present Accelerating Microsoft’s AI Transformation: An organization design and development systems approach with Ewa Kacewicz\, Head of Organization Design at Microsoft and moderated by Beth Gunderson\, CEO Senior Affiliate Practitioner and ODF Advisory Board Member. \nJoin us for the first CEO and ODF collaborative event\, bringing together the expertise of both communities for shared learning and connection. \nAs organizations accelerate their use of AI\, many leaders are discovering that technology alone does not drive transformation. Strategy\, structure\, workflows\, management processes\, and organizational systems must evolve together to translate experimentation into sustained impact. In this webinar\, Ewa Kacewicz\, Head of Organization Design at Microsoft\, to share how Microsoft is approaching AI transformation through an organization design and development systems lens. \nThe session offers a rare\, practice-based perspective on how large\, complex organizations can intentionally embed AI into the way work gets done\, while strengthening trust\, autonomy\, and continuous learning. Ewa Kacewicz will share how the company is accelerating its own internal adoption of AI tools. As “customer zero” in AI transformation\, Microsoft is testing and refining AI-powered ways of working internally before scaling them externally. You will see what the company is calling “The AI-Powered Operating Model\,” which builds on the work of Jay Galbraith\, Amy Kates\, and Greg Kesler to create a systems view of where AI can transform strategy setting\, workflows\, management processes\, and organizational health monitoring. We’ll share an AI Maturity Diagnostic that is helping Microsoft units move from experimentation to measurable productivity gains\, while fostering trust\, autonomy\, and continuous learning. A case study of Microsoft’s Data Centers organization will illustrate the practical application of these frameworks. Finally\, you’ll also see how the HR team is using AI to augment their organization design and development work. \n \n Register Here\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n SPEAKERS\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n BETH GUNDERSON\n \n CEO Senior Affiliate Practitioner \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n EWA KACEWICZ\n \n Head of Organization Design\, Microsoft \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nUniversity’s Notice of Non-Discrimination\nThis program is open to all eligible individuals. SUMMARY:APAC EEN: Getting Your HR Tech Stack (and Strategy) Back on Track
DESCRIPTION:APAC EEN: Getting Your HR Tech Stack (and Strategy) Back on Track\nSession Leader: Sharna Wiblen\nThursday\, December 4\, 2025 6:00 pm PST (Los Angeles) | 9:00 pm EST (New York)Friday\, December 5\, 2025 1:00 pm AEST (Sydney) | 10 am CST (Beijing) | 7:30 am IST (Delhi)(1 hour duration)\n  \n \n \n \n More investment in tech\, but still achieving little (strategic) progress? Then it’s time to stop wasting financial and human resources and shift from digital activity to strategic intent. \nHuman Resources (HR) technology is everywhere. Yet\, for many organizations\, the result is an ever-growing HR tech stack without a corresponding advancement in talent strategy. The pattern is familiar: adding tools to fix local problems\, filling gaps with short-term solutions\, and adopting vendor-designed workflows that shape how you make talent decisions. The consequence? Complexity\, as well as financial and human waste increases\, accountability dilutes and strategic drift occurs. \nJoin us for a live 60- minute APAC-timed Enterprise Effectiveness (EEN) session in which Sharna Wiblen (Senior Research Scientist) will share insights from this year’s HR Tech Conference and illustrate how buying more technology can take you further away from your strategic intent. You’ll learn what you can do to put your talent strategy back on track. \nWho should attend? \n\nHR and OD professionals seeking to realign their HR technology investments with strategic business outcomes\nHR and OD professionals seeking practical approaches to simplify\, integrate\, and optimize complex digital ecosystems\nHR and OD professionals seeking to reduce digital\, financial\, and process waste in talent systems\nIndustrial–Organizational psychologists interested in improving the precision and impact of digital talent decisions\nSenior executives and decision-makers accountable for ensuring that technology enables — rather than dictates — strategy\nOD practitioners involved in diagnosing\, auditing\, and redesigning HR processes and structures for enterprise effectiveness\nTalent management leaders seeking to move from digital accumulation to intentional\, strategy-first advancement\n\nWhat’s the Enterprise Effectiveness Network (EEN)? \nThe Enterprise Effectiveness Network (EEN) is a dynamic peer-to-peer community where we discuss and address talent\, organizational\, and strategy execution challenges. Led by USC’s Center for Effective Organizations (CEO) experts Alec Levenson\, Jennifer Deal\, Sharna Wiblen EEN sessions are 90-minute virtual sessions founded on research-backed insights. By joining us for our EEN sessions\, you’ll gain access to expert and research-led discussions and practical tools and be part of a network of like-minded professionals committed to advancing enterprise effectiveness. SUMMARY:Driving Organizational Change with Data - in the Age of AI
DESCRIPTION:This masterclass addresses a critical challenge facing HR Business Partners (HRBPs)\, Organization Development (OD)\, and People Analytics (PA). OD and PA are organized and implemented as separate spheres of expertise\, with HRBPs drawing from both to help in their work. The problem for the business and HR is that this disjointed approach leaves tremendous value on the table\, impacting strategy execution and organizational effectiveness. It also makes responding to and integrating AI into the work of HR more challenging than it needs to be. \n HR needs a more integrated approach to reveal actionable insights and produce meaningful change. All three groups have substantial room for improvement in their practice: \n\nHRBPs are stretched too thin to effectively use the best insights from both OD and PA.\nOD needs to make better use of data\, measurement and AI in the process of diagnosing systems challenges and driving change.\nPeople Analytics needs to be more closely aligned and integrated with the interpersonal and change work of OD and the HRBPs.\n\nThis workshop provides tools\, frameworks and insights for all three groups to improve practice and business impact\, including the following: \n\nTurn data into C Suite decision making: Data and analytics efforts too often focus on finding facts to demonstrate “objective” realities in the organization without ensuring they resonate with the right audience. The workshop shows how to influence leaders and drive the right interpretation and actions based on the data\, including the emerging insights AI provides.\nIntegrate analytics and OD to activate successful org change and transformation: Successful change requires the right mix of process\, measurement and action. Combine the best data and measurement tools from the analytics world\, with the dynamic tools and frameworks used by OD to diagnose\, guide and deliver organizational change and transformation programs that work.\nTactics to engage senior business leaders: Deploying the right mix of OD plus analytics to engage key stakeholders and decision makers is both art and science. The workshop shows how to strike the right balance to achieve maximum results.\nConduct org diagnostics using qualitative and quantitative analysis: Classic analytics approaches rely too heavily on analyzing and collecting data from individuals\, rather than the teams and org units where the business and strategic outcomes are realized. Comprehensive org diagnostics of the drivers of business performance require a combination of case study and systems analytics\, and leveraging the new tools provided by AI.\n\nWho should attend\n\nHR business partners\nOD professionals\nPeople analytics professionals\n\nAttendees will earn 15 Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP recertification. \nMasterclass faculty\nThe masterclass is taught by three highly respected thought and practice leaders in the HR\, analytics and OD communities. SUMMARY:USC CEO Webinar: Driving Organizational Change with Data – in the Age of AI
DESCRIPTION:Driving Organizational Change with Data – in the Age of AILeaders: Alec Levenson and Alexis Fink\nWednesday\, September 3\, 20258am PT |11am ET | 4pm BST (one hour duration)\nOver the past quarter century\, workforce/people analytics has become central to the work of HR. Yet good analytical work often fails to gain traction. And even though AI is poised to transform how analytics is conducted\, it cannot solve the challenge of integrating data-based insights with effective organizational change. Integrating analytical practices with organization development and change practices can help each of these HR specialties be stronger\, driving better overall outcomes for the organization\, and make the best use of what AI has to offer. \nThis webinar: \n\nAddresses how to enable analytics to improve decision making and change for the HR leadership team and HR business partners (HRBPs).\nExamines the proliferation of dashboards\, and what they can and cannot do.\nAddresses how AI is going to transform data and analytics work – and where it will fall short.\nIntroduces a new framework to guide our understanding of where HRBPs/OD experts versus analytics experts focus their time and energy – and how to achieve better integration and outcomes across the HR function.\n\n \n Register for the Webinar\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Speakers\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n ALEC R. Employee Resource Group (ERG) Leadership Summit\, taking place on September 18-19\, 2024. \nNow in its 12th year\, this data-driven learning event continues to be a premier gathering for ERG leaders\, diversity\, equity\, and inclusion executives\, and executive sponsors. While the in-person event in Minneapolis/St. Paul\, MN\, on July 16-17\, 2024\, was a success\, there’s still an opportunity to engage and network virtually. Whether you attended in person or are joining us for the first time\, the virtual summit offers a dynamic platform for collaborative learning and innovation. Don’t miss this chance to connect with peers and gain valuable insights in the DEI space. \nClick Here for the Agenda.\n \n \n \n Why you should attend\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Innovation & Success Sharing Competition\n \n \n \n The Innovation and Success Sharing Competition provides a platform for organizations to generate new ideas and share their successes.
