SUMMARY:EEN Session: Modernizing Performance Management
DESCRIPTION:Modernizing Performance Management\nSession leaders: Dave Millner\, Alec Levenson\, Jennifer Deal and Sharna Wiblen\nThursday\, May 30th\, 20248:00am PT / 11:00am ET / 4:00pm BST(2 hour duration)\nSecond only to releasing an employee\, managers cite performance management processes as the task they dislike the most. This is understandable given that the traditionally practiced process is fundamentally flawed. It is incongruent with the mission-oriented\, employee-centric and participative work environments favoured by forward-thinking organizations today. It smacks of an old-fashioned\, paternalistic\, top-down\, autocratic mode of management that treats employees as the company’s possessions. We all know that engaged\, high-performing employees will lead every business to success and creating an environment that nurtures these key traits is difficult but not impossible. This session will explore past and current developments\, challenges and learnings. \nTogether\, we will consider: \n\nThe foundational aspects of traditional performance management\nHow the performance management process has evolved during the past few years\nOpportunities and challenges associated with modernizing performance management processes\nStrategies for implementing and pursuing relevant\, ethical and effective performance management processesFuture trends and learning lessons\n\n  \n \n \n \n \n \n Contact Us to Join EEN Meetings\n \n Learn more about EEN\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n SPEAKERS\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n DAVE MILLNER\n \n Founder and Consulting Partner\, HR Curator Ltd.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n ALEC R.
