Johanna Anzengruber

Johanna Anzengruber is Professor of Strategy and Innovation at University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.

In her research and consulting, she focuses on the combination of organizational capability management, strategy, leadership as well as innovation management. Her work has been featured in such media outlets as the International Journal of Human Resource Management, the Journal of Managerial Psychology and Springer publishing. In 2016, Johanna Anzengruber co-authored a book on Business-Modell Innovation 4.0. She is a frequent speaker at universities and conferences on the topic on the future of management design, innovation and capability management. Recently, she was nominated for the Austrian State Award for teaching excellence ‘Ars docendi’ 2018.

From 2011 to 2017 she was a Professor of Management at Steinbeis University Berlin at School of International Business and Entrepreneurship. Furthermore, from 2009 – 2016 she headed the department for Strategic Core Competence Management at the Global Headquarters of Siemens Healthcare, where she was responsible for development and implementation of the organization’s core competence strategy. Being a member of Siemens Corporate Technology beforehand, she has led several innovation projects around the globe and acted as a strategic advisor for Siemens’ CTO.
