Organization Design Executive Education Programs

2009 marks the 11th year of CEO’s bi-annual Organization Design Workshop (we’ve had 827 attendees representing over 370 companies) and the 9th cycle of our Certificate in Organization Design program (121 attendees have come to our Advanced Topics Workshop, representing over 90 companies).

Since the inception of CEO’s Organization Design Certificate program in 2001, over 106 attendees (88% of those enrolled) have graduated from the program. A significant number of graduates have been able to apply their learnings in their current work environments and have moved on to higher positions. Several have started their own businesses.

Many organizations, such as Booz Allen & Company, Kraft, Boeing, The Hartford, AARP, Lockheed Martin, Sun Microsystems, Caribbean Money Market Brokers, Disney, Kimberly-Clark, Nokia, PepsiCo, Shell Oil, Procter & Gamble, and United Airlines have multiple graduates of the program. International companies have also participated in this program.

Certificate graduates have attended both CEO’s Strategic Organization Design Workshop and our Advanced Topics in Organization Design Workshop. The Advanced Topics session is based in part on cases that are prepared by each participant with ongoing coaching from the faculty directors, Sue Mohrman and Chris Worley. We welcome teams (and offer a discount for teams of three or more) as an excellent means of deepening the learnings for both the organization and the participants.

The next sessions for the Strategic Organization Design Workshop are February 2-5, 2010 in Los Angeles and November 2-5, 2010 in Bethesda, MD. The next Advanced Topics Workshop will be offered in Los Angeles in early 2011. We are also working to determine interest in an Advanced Topics Workshop in Europe in autumn 2010.
