Pete Ramstad is a globally-recognized thought-leader, C-suite executive and author, who brings a unique perspective to the future of work, organizational strategy and HR. Pete draws upon a uniquely diverse set of experiences, including serving as the CHRO and head of M&A for The Toro Company and CHRO for Cappella Education Company. He draws upon over 20 years of leadership in diverse financial and HR service organizations. He also brings significant depth and expertise in finance, as a CPA and partner in a national CPA firm, and CFO of a privately-held organization. He is also a published author and researcher.
Pete’s collaboration with John Boudreau for more than 20 years produced the book Beyond HR, published by Harvard Business School Press, and many other publications. His recent work with Boudreau builds practical frameworks and tools to implement a truly decision-based HR function, that addresses the opportunities and challenges faced by HR leaders. He has been a faculty member in many leading corporate leadership and executive education programs including Boeing and GE’s (Crotonville) leadership centers, Fed-Ex Asia, and Cornell University, University of Southern California and the University of Minnesota.
