Morgan Kinross-Wright, VP Community Relations & Executive Director of the Land O’Lakes Foundation, joined Land O’Lakes in 2019. Her responsibilities include developing and nurturing key external relationships, leading the strategic philanthropy of their member-funded Foundation, and creating opportunities for all Land O’Lakes employees and members to be engaged community citizens.
Morgan joined Land O’Lakes with a diverse portfolio of leadership experience having fostered the growth and success of teams across nonprofit and higher education institutions. Most recently, Morgan served as Senior Vice President of Development with Junior Achievement North (JA) where she led fundraising – including a $17 million capital campaign – and developed partnerships with Fortune 500 companies. Prior to JA, Morgan spent more than 13 years in strategic leadership roles at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota (UMN). During her tenure as the Executive Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations and the Director of the Undergraduate Business Career Center, Morgan raised significant funding to support education initiatives and fostered student career development, building relationships with over 800 companies.
Morgan grew up on a ranch in Big Timber, Montana, and holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Montana, as well as an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. She now lives with her teenage son and her husband, a retired Brigadier General for the Minnesota Army National Guard, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In her free time, Morgan enjoys cooking, traveling, and spoiling their pandemic-puppy Ripley.
