Katerina Gonzalez is an Associate Professor of Management at Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School.
Her research examines the human side of organizational change: how employees interpret and respond to change, and how change processes are structured and managed within organizations. She pursues two interconnected lines of inquiry: the psychological, relational, and contextual processes that shape employee responses, and the organizational practices and interventions that support effective change implementation. Her current work also explores how artificial intelligence reshapes employees experiences of change and change management practices.
Her work has appeared in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Harvard Business Review, among other outlets. She serves as Associate Editor of The Journal of Applied Behavioral Science and Methods Editor for the Campbell Collaboration’s Business and Management Coordinating Group.
Katerina teaches undergraduate, graduate, and executive audiences, combining behavioral science with practical applications in organizational change, leadership, teamwork, and people analytics. She holds a PhD, MPhil, and MBA from the City University of New York (Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College and The Graduate Center) and a BS from New York University (Stern School of Business).
