Courtney Schroeder is General Mills’ Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DI&B). In this role, Courtney is responsible for building on General Mills 30-year legacy of diversity and inclusion leadership. During his time in DI&B, Courtney launched the Courageous Conversation platform, led the execution of the first Employee Network Summit bringing together 600 employees across the ERGs for professional development and community building, and introduced the concept of belonging in the workplace leading to the adoption of the company value of Champion Belonging.
Courtney currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Project for Pride in Living, a Twin Cities based housing and workforce development non-profit, and serves on the steering team for the Minnesota Business Coalition for Racial Equity (MBCRE) where he leads efforts to drive Black Business development in Minnesota.
