Elena Imaretska works in the intersection of inclusion and innovation, where the full spectrum of human differences brings richness of insights and opportunities for growth. At Ecolab, Elena partners closely with business leaders to bring the company’s purpose and values to life. Prior to Ecolab, Elena’s experience spans from embedding an inclusive mindset in financial services during her time at Securian Financial to building experiential learning for Fortune 500 companies as the Chief Innovation Officer for the Brave New Outpost, an art-based, behavior activation firm. Elena co-authored the book The Innovative Mindset: Five Behaviors for Accelerating Breakthroughs and is a firm believer in the innovation capacity of every human being on the planet. Fun fact, Elena grew up in Bulgaria, studied in Germany and worked in Japan, prior to setting roots in the US. It’s fair to say, she’s been through the wringer on three continents and recognizes the immense value of enthusiastic curiosity, empathy and bridging of diverse perspectives to build a prosperous future. Elena earned her MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix Arizona. She never questions her decision to embrace Minnesota winters.
