Jaime is responsible for our enterprise strategic planning, development and management. In this role, she helps shape our enterprise strategic plan, provides thought leadership to new strategy development, oversees strategic execution and communications and coordinates governance and oversight by our executive Strategy Council.
Experience
Jaime joined Securian Financial in 2015 as a director and initially focused on partnerships and digital innovation to test new ideas and increase our agility and customer orientation. During this time, she accelerated our efforts with the start-up community and established our first innovation lab to explore new digital capabilities and business opportunities. In 2018, Jaime was promoted to senior director to lead enterprise strategy. She was promoted to her current position in 2022.
Prior to joining Securian Financial, Jaime spent seven years at Best Buy in various strategy, business development and innovation roles. She started her career in merger and acquisition advisory and private equity.

• Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Economics and Philosophy, Amherst College
Community
Jaime serves on the executive advisory board for the Carlson Consulting Enterprise at the University of Minnesota. She is also a member of LIMRA’s Strategy and Innovation committee. In 2017, Jaime was honored by LIMRA as one of its top 25 “Rising Stars of Innovation under 40.”
