Janelle is a dynamic leader and connector, currently serving as Business Support Manager for the Global Opportunity & Inclusion team within Bank of America’s Chief People Organization. She plays a pivotal role in advancing enterprise-wide inclusion strategies and supporting key initiatives that foster engagement and equity across the organization.

Since joining Bank of America in 2015, Janelle has held a range of impactful roles spanning AML Operations, Enterprise Operational Excellence, Wealth Management, and Global Technology and Operations. Her career is marked by a consistent focus on quality, collaboration, and strategic execution—including her leadership in QA review frameworks, calibration efforts, and defect remediation strategies.

Beyond her professional achievements, Janelle is a passionate advocate for employee networks and mentorship. She is an active member of LEAD for Women Charlotte, a councilman for the Black Professional Group (BPG) Charlotte Mentoring Program, and a member of the Parents and Caregivers network. She proudly graduated from the inaugural Charlotte Market Employee Network Program in 2021.

Janelle’s commitment to community runs deep. She has supported numerous nonprofit organizations and is a 12-year member of the Junior League of Columbia, where she has held multiple leadership roles. She also served in PTA and PTO leadership for her son’s schools and is a founding volunteer with the Jamie Kimble Foundation for Courage—honoring the legacy of her personal friend Jamie.

Raised as an Army brat, Janelle was born in Washington, D.C. and has lived in over 10 states and abroad. She earned her undergraduate degree from Winthrop University and now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her son Matthew and their Yorkshire terrier, Elsa.
