Dr. KimArie Yowell is the Chief Talent Officer at Rocket, where she leads learning and development, career growth, opportunity and inclusion strategy, and culture and engagement across the enterprise. In this role, she is responsible for shaping programs and strategies that support team member development, post-secondary education initiatives, leadership development, and an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.
With more than 25 years of experience in client service, sales, and corporate education, Dr. Yowell is deeply passionate about helping people grow and empowering organizations to thrive. She firmly believes that the foundation of every dynamic, high-performing team is inclusive leadership and a culture where all individuals can contribute and succeed.
Dr. Yowell has received numerous honors for her leadership and impact, including being named one of Crain’s Detroit Business’ Most Notable Leaders in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, a Michigan Chronicle Woman of Excellence, and one of Savoy Magazine’s Most Influential Women in Corporate America. She was also recognized by the Michigan Chronicle as a member of its prestigious 40 Under 40 class for her professional achievements and community service.
Beyond her work at Rocket, Dr. Yowell is an active community leader, serving on several nonprofit boards and as a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
Dr. Yowell earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wayne State University and holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Arts in Adult Education and Training, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Management and Administrative Sciences from The University of Texas at Dallas. Most recently, she earned her Doctorate in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
