Leslie O’Hara is Chief People Officer of PepsiCo Foods US. In her time with PepsiCo, she has led the field and headquarters structure for Frito Lay North American Sales + Commercial businesses. She was responsible for leading a 200+ person HR team and a fully encompassed human resources strategy, including talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, organizational design, compensation and benefits, and HR operations. This role had direct accountability for $30B in US sales supporting 70,000 employees – including the delivery of 744 million cases of product and 155 million miles driven by our employees servicing US retailers.
Prior to PepsiCo, Leslie led HR for Old Navy, the $10B fashion apparel brand based in San Francisco. Leslie’s work at Old Navy concentrated on transforming the employee experience for the brand’s 60,000+ employees to deliver on Old Navy’s values of inclusivity, opportunity, and sustainably.
With more than 20 years of retail and HR experience, Leslie has held roles across the US and Asia businesses supporting business growth and organizational transformation.
Leslie is the Vice Chairmen of the Board of Enterprise for Youth, a nonprofit organization which empowers under-resourced San Francisco youth to reach their potential through transformative paid internship experiences. Leslie has also served on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Oakland.
Leslie graduated from the University of Wisconsin—Madison, and holds a BA in English. In 2016, she was named “Forward Under Forward” by UW Alumni Association. She lives in Texas with her husband.
