Martin Nance serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at the Minnesota Vikings, where his leadership plays a crucial role in shaping the club’s strategies and direction. With extensive experience in leadership roles within strategic marketing programs, advertising, and brand management, Nance is widely acknowledged for his expertise in driving fan engagement and enhancing brand presence.

In his influential role, Nance oversees various departments including marketing, sponsorship activation, events, premium services, creative, sales analytics & engagement, Vikings Entertainment Network, as well as International Marketing. His responsibility encompasses orchestrating cohesive efforts across these domains to achieve organizational objectives and expand the club’s global reach.

Joining the organization in 2021, Nance brought with him a wealth of experience gained during his tenure at PepsiCo/Gatorade, where he held senior positions in sales and marketing. His contributions were instrumental in shaping brand direction and fostering customer relations.

Before his corporate roles, Nance had a remarkable career as an NFL wide receiver for Buffalo, Minnesota, and Pittsburgh, culminating in winning a Super Bowl as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Transitioning into the business realm, he joined the NFL League office, focusing on corporate development and revenue generation initiatives.

Nance’s academic background includes a BS in Accountancy from Miami University of Ohio, an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and a certificate in Executive Education from Harvard Business School.

Outside of his professional commitments, Nance is actively engaged in community initiatives. Currently serving on the boards of Miami University’s athletic department and the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital, he contributes to the advancement of sports, education, and healthcare.

With his wife, Minya, and their two daughters, Alina and Ava, Nance embodies a commitment to leadership both within and beyond the professional sphere.
