McKenzie is an award-winning Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion professional with more than 10 years of experience within professional sports, including minor league baseball​ and hockey, the NFL, and ​is currently ​with the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, as the Diversity and Inclusion Manager.

McKenzie is a contributor to ​the creative, dynamic, and diverse forward-thinking strategy and initiatives within the Dallas Mavericks, in the community, and with the Maverick’s fan base. ​In addition to overseeing the organization’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), she is leading efforts ​to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, as well as deepening work with diverse communities.

In 2021 McKenzie was awarded the DEI Champion Award by the National Diversity Council. She is a founding member of Pro Sports Assembly, creating a strong, healthy, and fair professional sports ecosystem by equipping leaders at all levels with the relationships and resources necessary to succeed. She is also a member of WISE (Women in Sports and Events) and DISE (Dallas Influencers in Sports and Entertainment). 

McKenzie ​just completed her Masters of Sports Administration degree from Ohio University. When she is not working, she is traveling as much as she can. She resides in Plano, TX with her husband, Luke and two ​Boston Terriers, Karl & Kash.
