Omar Morales brings nearly 20 years of global experience across HR Business Partnership, Organization Development, and Talent Management in Fortune 50 companies spanning CPG, Media & Entertainment, and Technology.

Currently, he serves as Head of the Organization Development at Microsoft, where he leads Workforce Transformation, driving a systemic, employee-centered, and process-driven approach to AI-enabled transformation. His portfolio includes initiatives in Operating Model design, Leadership Team Performance, Organizational Transformation, and OD Capability Building—diffusing critical competencies such as systems thinking, strategic alignment, team effectiveness, and organizational design across the HR ecosystem.

Beyond his work at Microsoft, Omar serves on the Board of Trustees for the Organization Development Network, where he leads the Professional Development Pillar—overseeing the Global Competency Framework and the Webinar + Entrepreneur Series. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the USC Center for Effective Organizations and the Advisory Board for the Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Change program at Case Western Reserve University, where he contributes to shaping the future of the OD discipline. In addition, Omar is an advisor to the Pi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where he mentors and supports the development of emerging leaders.

Omar’s passion for leadership resilience and organizational adaptability is central to his doctoral research at Case Western Reserve University, where he explores strategies for thriving in the future of work, largely influenced by the Era of AI. His work focuses on equipping leaders and organizations to adapt, thrive, and perform in times of transformation.

Throughout his career – at Procter & Gamble, AT&T/DIRECTV, and Microsoft – Omar has architected and implemented workforce strategies, talent management solutions, and organizational designs that accelerate innovation and business growth.

Omar holds a Master’s in Organization Development from Pepperdine University and executive certifications in Organization Design from USC, Executive Coaching from Georgetown University, and Business Management from Columbia University. Grounded in a growth mindset and a business-led, HR-enabled approach, Omar’s leadership reflects his deep belief in empowering people and organizations to transform with purpose.
