Orson Ledezma Castro is an executive with 28+ years of experience in the B2B industry across the Americas region. He was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where he received his Material Engineer and Marketing Specialist degrees. He has worked for Ecolab since 1996, starting his career supporting industrial customers with their water treatment and process improvement needs. From there, he grew in responsibilities and scope within Ecolab’s commercial area serving a diverse industrial customer base, and then moved into general management responsibilities for Brazil and Latin America. Since 2022, Orson leads Ecolab’s Food and Beverage division in North America, residing in Minnesota with his family. He is also serves as the Executive Sponsor of the Twin Cities chapter of Ecolab’s black/AA ERG, EcoEssence and as a member of the advisory board for Ecolab’s Hispanic/Latinx ERG.
Throughout his career, Orson has been involved in various efforts and initiatives around DE&I, through his participation and support of Ecolab’s ERGs, helping them grow and strengthen as well expanding their reach and networking by starting new chapters in various geographies. Orson has also worked with non-profit organizations like United Way, to have an impact on education and cultural integration of diverse populations in need. His journey continues as he finds new opportunities to learn and build connections to impact underrepresented communities.
