Rebecca Robinson,(she/her/hers) CCDP, AP serves as the vice president and chief Diversity officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. She is thought leader with extensive experience in the areas of diversity management, inclusive leadership coaching, supplier diversity, people management and multicultural marketing. Rebecca has a proven track record of significant company growth and bottom-line profitability directly tied to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategies. Throughout her career she has used her talents in working with organizations to develop diversity and inclusion initiatives to drive business outcomes and increase awareness as a critical business imperative. As a subject matter expert, she has mentored, coached and developed senior leaders to enable honest and open conversation around biases, cultural competence and inclusive leadership. She has been the architect in the development of inclusion & diversity strategies, developed and launched numerous employee resource groups globally and overseen the implementation of enterprise-wide inclusion strategies, education and learning.
Rebecca brings over 20 years of extensive DEI experience from several well-respected organizations, such as TE Connectivity, 3M, and the Royal Bank of Canada. She has a history of creating and driving strategy around organizational inclusion and engagement programs that ensure all employees can reach their fullest potential. Rebecca joined The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia in November 2018. In her role, she is responsible for working collaboratively with senior management in the development and execution of the Bank’s DEI strategy and oversees the employee resource groups and the diversity, equity and inclusion council.
Rebecca has a bachelor’s degree from the United States International University. She also has a Diversity Advanced Practitioner certification (CCDP/AP) from Cornell University.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys traveling and improving her cooking and baking skills- currently perfecting jerk chicken and oatmeal cherry chocolate chip walnut cookies.
