Wendy Cox is a Diversity & Inclusion Manager in Bank of America’s Global Diversity & Inclusion Organization. In her role on the Employee Network Leadership Team, she is responsible for program management and inclusion readiness. She supports over 116K+ employees involved in Employee Networks and local markets globally.
In her former role, she managed the award-winning Diverse Leader Sponsorship Program and enterprise Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) programs and learning solutions, impacting 214K+ employees globally. This award-winning program focused on establishing a diverse pipeline of internal leaders and expand representation at the executive level. In addition, she managed multiple enterprise D&I learning programs designed to build an inclusive culture driving skill-development, competency, and advocacy.
Wendy has influenced countless awards for Bank of America, including Top 100 Best Places to Work and various others, impacting the organization’s ability to engage, develop, promote, and retain high-performing and diverse global talent. She and her team were recognized with the prestigious Brandon Hall Excellence Gold Award consecutively from 2016 – 2023 and the Stevie Gold Award of Excellence from 2021 – 2023. Wendy serves in a dual role providing leadership as the Market Human Resource Partner for Tucson, AZ. In her market role, she partners with the senior leadership team to optimize employee performance for the assigned region by leveraging employee engagement and talent management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
In her 30+ years at Bank of America, she has worked across Global Human Resources, held roles in Learning & Leadership Development for multiple lines of business, as well as enterprise management for key learning platforms.
Wendy graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication, and she is DFSS Green Belt certified in Six Sigma.
Wendy resides in Tempe, AZ, where she actively supports Bank of America Employee Networks and community volunteer events. For the past 20 years, she has served women and children in her church community. Wendy enjoys spending time with her husband and three adult children.
