Top 5 ERG Challenges

In this session, you will learn what our research shows as the top 5 ERG challenges organizations face as they go into 2024. In addition to reviewing the challenges, we will go into breakout rooms to discuss solutions to these challenges. The top challenges are (in no particular order):

• ERG structure and globalization of ERGs – what is the ideal structure for optimizing ERG work and impact?
• Recognition and rewards – what can organizations do to ensure ERG leaders are recognized for their work? Does it require direct payments or something else?
• The non-connected workforce – how to involve field staff, manufacturing workers, and anyone who doesn’t have easy access to communications and virtual work.
• ERG dual goals – managing the dual goals of ERG advocacy and ERG strategic impact on the business.
• Engaging members – how to engage members to step up and get more involved.
