Bernard Bedon

Bernard Bedon is the VP, Lead HR Business Partner for Nike, overseeing all HR business partners enterprise-wide.
He is also the primary HRBP for Nike’s Consumer & Marketplace team, the geographies, Jordan Brand and Converse.
Bernard also helps manage and support the company’s DE&I portfolio and team.

Bernard joined Nike in 2018 as the VP, HR GOT & Corporate Functions, responsible for Global Operations &
Technology (GOT), HR, Finance, Strategy and the Office of the General Counsel, supporting the COO, CFO, General
Counsel, CSO and CHRO.

Prior to Nike, Bernard worked as Vice President, Human Resources and Chief Talent Officer for Amgen (global
biotechnology company, with 25,000 FTE, 100+ countries, $26 bn. revenue) leading the integrated Talent COE. In that
role, he oversaw Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Global Mobility, Learning & Development, Diversity &
Inclusion, and Talent Analytics. He was a member of the HR leadership team and, in that capacity, responsible for
four global transformation initiatives: Talent/EVP, Continuous Improvement, Learning, and Business Ethics.

Prior to Amgen, Bernard held two positions with the Publicis Groupe with his most recent role being Executive Vice
President and Chief HR Officer for Starcom MediaVest Group. Prior to that, Bernard was the Senior Vice President,
Global Talent Management Director, at Publicis Groupe Media. From 2001 to 2006, Bernard worked with Bristol-Myers
Squibb Company in a series of corporate and divisional roles across Talent Management, Leadership and
Organization Development, Staffing, and Diversity. Before joining Bristol-Myers Squibb he was a management
consultant out of the New York City office of Towers Perrin (now Towers Watson) in its Human Capital Management
practice. Bernard started his career as a management consultant with William M. Mercer in Washington, D.C.

Bernard received his Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland
College Park. He earned his B.A. degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
