Sarah Weaver is the Director of OD & Culture Activation at Microsoft. Sarah began her career at The Hershey Company making candy and optimizing production processes. This was quickly followed by more systemic work around quality improvements and cost savings projects factory wide for Nestle USA. She has deep experience in piloting and leading Lean culture across North America. Through these experiences, Sarah found her way to Organization Development and ensuring the end-to-end systemic change was connected to the business strategy.
Sarah has been with Microsoft for 9 years and has held roles across HR (OD/Culture, Talent Management, Learning and Development, and HRBP). Sarah’s current responsibilities include activating systemic culture change at scale, building OD capability at scale, and teaching/coaching Adaptive Leadership. Sarah holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA and an MBA in Leadership and Organizational Change from The Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA. Sarah continues to live her passion for driving systemic change both in her personal and professional life. Sarah and her husband live in the Seattle area with their 2 boys and their dog, Mollie.
