Human Capital and Effective Organizations (HCEO) Certificate Program
The Center for Effective Organizations (CEO) at the USC Marshall School of Business is dedicated to partnering with companies to research, educate leaders and teams, and to develop practical, actionable knowledge to help senior HR executives lead their organizations to be strategic business partners and to apply strategic HR to advance organizational effectiveness and performance.

CEO’s Human Capital and Effective Organizations Certificate program guides participants as they master the role of a strategic HR partner. By creating a community of practice, exposing candidates to state-of-the-art Human Resource thinking, and encouraging them to apply that thinking to organizational effectiveness issues, the Certificate program provides a foundation of knowledge for HR’s future leaders.
Who Should Attend
The HCEO Certificate program is designed for executives and high-potential professionals preparing for a strategic role in their organizations. Candidates should have at least 7-10 years experience.

Program Details
Certificate Requirements:
To earn the HCEO Certificate, candidates must complete the 5-course integrated curriculum within a time frame of 18 months up to 3 years. Candidates also must attend the entirety of each seminar, actively participate, and complete all pre-work, assignments, and evaluations.
Program Cost
The cost of the certificate program includes a certificate fee plus the price of the 5 courses required. The certificate fee covers administrative costs, special certificate-only sessions, and ongoing consultative sessions.

Within the program guidelines, CEO will work with candidates to customize the curriculum to fit their career aspirations, as well as their organization’s needs.
Candidates attend 1 core workshop and customize the program with 4 elective CEO workshops.
