Developing People Analytics Capability that Drives Results

Session Leader: Professor Dana Minbaeva (King’s College London) and Alec Levenson (Senior Research Scientist)

Tues, Apr 21, 2026  8:00 am PDT (Los Angeles) / 11:00 am EDT (New York) / 4:00 pm BST (London)

1.5 hour duration

Is your people analytics capability positioned to influence the workforce decisions that drive business impact?

Many organizations have invested heavily in people analytics tools, dashboards and reporting capabilities. Yet the strategic impact of these investments remains uneven, with some analytics capabilities still focusing on reporting rather than business impact despite the desire of analytics professionals to contribute to organizational effectiveness. And now AI is starting to disrupt, in both positive and negative ways, how people analytics is practiced.

Join us for a live 90-minute Enterprise Effectiveness Network Session in which Dana Minbaeva (Professor of Strategic Human Capital, Kings College London) and Alec Levenson (Senior Research Scientist) will share insights about how to advance within the People Analytics Maturity Matrix and approach people analytics as an organizational capability. Participants will gain an understanding of where their organizations sit within the maturity matrix; what actions to take to ensure analytics inform workforce decisions that drive business impact; and how AI is poised to alter people analytics strategies and capabilities in the immediate future.

Who should attend?

  • CHROs wanting to advance analytics as an organizational capability
  • HR and People Analytics professionals involved in or responsible for producing insights that shape workforce decisions
  • HR Business Partners involved in improving the quality of HR and talent decisions
  • Workforce planning professionals involved in using analytics in forecasting
  • Line leaders that use analytics in functional and/or business unit decision-making

You can also learn more about the People Analytics Maturity Matrix in Dana and Alec’s co-authored book – Workforce Analytics: A Global Perspective (with Martin Edwards and Mark Huselid) available from https://workforceanalytics.net/
